Nearly 300 students currently major in Berklee's undergraduate film scoring program, which offers study in film music composition, orchestration, MIDI sequencing, conducting, and digital music editing. "These are very challenging times for young musicians entering the film and music business," says Carlin, "and I hope that my industry experience, affiliations, and insights will help Berklee maintain its reputation for providing the best real-world preparation anywhere for emerging music professionals."
